Five Workouts You Can Do at Patriots Park

Patriots Park opened in August of last year and it honestly is a great place to go and get a workout in. It offers the perfect space to get a good workout in without having to haul workout equipment with you.

In this post, I have put together 5 FREE workouts you can do entirely at Patriots Park!

I recommend using an app on your phone or a watch with GPS to measure out any running distances these workouts may have. My personal favorite is the “Nike Run Club” app on my phone.

1. “The Burpee Mile”
Run a mile. At the start of each new minute including 0:00 stop and do 4 burpees. Keep going until you have run 1 mile

*Scaling Options*– Run 3/4 mile or 1/2 mile instead of the full mile. Still do 4 burpees at the start of each minute.

2. For time:
Run 1 mile then rest 3 minutes
Run 3/4 mile then rest 2 minutes
Run 1/2 mile then rest 1 minute
Run 1/4 mile
*Scaling Options* Start the workout on the 3/4 mile run. So you would skip the 1 mile run.

3. For this workout find a bench. I recommend the pavilion in the center of the park as it will provide some shade for you!
50-40-30-20-10 Bench Step-Ups
25-20-15-10-5 Push- ups
* Scaling Options*– Do the push ups from your knees

4. Interval Running
For 10 sets. Run for 2 minutes then walk for 1 minute. Total workout time is 30 minutes.
*Scaling Options* Run for 1 minute and walk for 2 minutes.

5. 5 Rounds of:
1 lap around the park running
25 air squats
20 lunges
*Scaling options* Run for 1 minute straight instead of running the entire lap around the park.
